Danfoss FlatStations have been installed in heat networks since 2006. Best practice has been to connect these systems via open-protocol M-Bus networks, providing reliable access to operational and metering data.
Building on this proven infrastructure, RavenNetworks not only optimises the performance and efficiency of Danfoss FlatStation heat networks but also provides the data and reporting required to support compliance with Ofgem regulations and the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme (HNTAS).

By capturing real-time flow, temperatures, and energy metrics during commissioning, you can verify that system is operating within tolerances and that the design intent is being met in practice.

During the defects liability period, early detection is essential to avoid costly rework or customer‑impacting failures. Our platform continuously monitors the heat network for deviations from expected performance, enabling contractors and clients to identify issues at their source and intervene promptly, with an objective basis for discussions around responsibility and corrective action.
This also supports a soft‑landings approach during initial handover, when residents begin moving in and additional monitoring is often required. For example, if a building is commissioned in summer, ongoing oversight ensures it performs correctly through the first winter; similarly, in a phased handover, continuous monitoring maintains visibility of system performance as occupancy and conditions change. RavenNetworks helps bridge the traditional gap where buildings are constructed, handed over, and simply assumed to work as intended.
